Welcome!
As part of the M2KIDS project (Multimodal and Multilingual AI Assistants for KIT Lecturers and Students)—funded by the KIT Strategy Fund—we aim to develop multimodal and multilingual assistants for lecturers and students using state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) methods and to pilot them in courses at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The deployment of these AI assistants is intended to boost lecturer productivity while simultaneously improving the learning processes and outcomes of students at KIT.
The project runs from October 1, 2025, to December 31, 2027, involving the institutes IAR (Prof. Niehues, Prof. Neumann), WIN (Prof. Mädche), TM (Prof. Beigl), and KASTEL (Prof. Beckert), as well as ZML (A. Sexauer), BIB (U. Dierolf), and SCC (M. Nussbaumer).
